HP Deskjet F4280 not printing black. Big paper due at 7am. Need help ASAP!!!?
I have Mac OSX 10.5.7 I am connecting by USB.
My printer will not print black. I just finished typing a 5,000 word essay that I've been working on for a long time. I tried printing it in black and it won't print. My teacher will only accept black. I tried printing it in "lead" instead of "licorice" (lead being a lighter color that black) and it worked perfectly fine. Can somebody please tell me what's going on? I need to sleep.
I changed it to black. It didn't work.
You are out of black ink. A lighter shade of black (like a dark grey) is used by combining all the colours together for form the print.
Hand it in as is. If your teacher has an issue with the shade of black tell her that is the color your printer prints, and you will be happy to reprint it on a school computer if it is unacceptable.
