How can you enter a bar code on your register without a scanner and computer?
I am a 14 yr old and i have a register and i want to know exactly how to input a bar code without a scanner and computer.
If you don't have a scanner, you input the number below the bar code. Take a look at every product that has a bar code. Immediately below the bar code is a number. You input that number. Typically, you have to punch a key on the register to open the dialog for inputting the number, and that differs from one type of register to another. You can get that information from the instruction manual or the person who is teaching you to use the register.
